5 Launching and Navigating the Preparation Test Step 1: Request Access to the Preparation Test In the Candidate Portal, you will need to click on the “Request Access Code” button on your next available Preparation Test to register the attempt. “Request Access Code” DOES NOT immediately launch the Preparation Test. With this step, you are only requesting an access code from the exam provider. IMPORTANT: Within the “My Preparation Tests” section, you will only be permitted to launch ONE preparation test at a time. Your other preparation tests will be “Queued” and only change to “Request Access Code” after a successful completion of the previous preparation test. If there is any technical issue on a Preparation Test attempt, the next preparation test will NOT be made available until the issue is cleared or resolved by the technical support team. Step 2: Launch Preparation Test Your access code request will be granted immediately and you will now have the “Launch Practice Exam” button available on the Preparation Test. IMPORTANT: Before moving on to the next step, please ensure that you have read all the technical requirements in this document and that you have set aside 1.5 hours (90 minutes) to complete the test in one sitting. This Preparation Test is meant to replicate the actual written exam experience and you will NOT be able to pause the timer or save it to complete at a later time.
